ANNUAL HEATING SYSTEM TUNE-UP

As the seasons change, a heating system tune-up is a smart way to greet the cold weather season and avoid possible problems later. So, what does an annual heating tune-up entail? At NAPCO as your Long Island heating and cooling company we will ensure your heating system is working efficiently so it can save you money in the long run.

HOME HEATING SYSTEMS

Home heating systems, also called HVAC systems, typically have three parts. First, a sensor, usually called a thermostat, measures the air temperature in the building. It then drops in temperature trigger combustion in the heater. Then the heat is distributed, either through a blower circulating it through ductwork or heating baseboards or radiators.

WHY GET A FALL HEATING TUNE-UP?

An HVAC fall tune-up protects you and your home. Proper maintenance keeps it working safely, preventing fires and emission problems. Many furnace warranties also require regular maintenance so if you neglect a fall tune-up, it can void your warranty.

Homeowners are often motivated to schedule fall heating maintenance to avoid a breakdown during the winter when it could lead to frozen pipes and worse problems. Winter heating and furnace problems commonly occur on the coldest days when the furnace is working the hardest.
